well i just did the demo, and what a cute little addicting game,, easy learning curve, cute graphics, i only did like 3 levels b4 deciding to buy,, building games are my fave so i am throughly enjoying my self, gonna start a soft release thread (still think soft releases need to be a sticky thread in ccc, so many miss them) and also talk about it in kels "A new love building games from tm,s "thread copied from bfg

the dev is there now,, and what a great little game....looks like 5 areas, the 1st had 16 levels, so if all areas have the same amount, gonna be long,,, getting gold is going to be a real thinking process....its just adorable, and a great start from a new dev,,,too bad its the soft release as most builders seem to be, i did start a soft release thread in ccc (without mentioning the game name of course, so bfg doesnt move it) if you guys get a chance, check it out

hiya aymes. nice to see ya here. been kind of quiet over the weekend,,, but just wanted to say again what a nice refreshing game you made,,,i dont know if you noticed, but there is also a devolepers corner, where some newer devs come and sound off ,,, we have Divame, who havent published yet, but are here getting ideas what people want, Chris from Dragonseye, was here a lot b4 Tearstone was released, Brain from subsoap (fairie solitare, was here for a bit, but i think he is going the facebook route.....you have no idea how much customers appreciate it when devolepers, actually come to forums, not only to see how thier games are recieved, but to also listen to what we like and dislike,,i will be following your webpage and future games closely

Thanks for the warm welcome Bella!

I've got quite a few ideas for what my next project could be and absolutely relish the chance to see what everyone here thinks. I'll be posting the dev area soon :)

Also, thanks once again for all your help in pushing The Tribloos!

Welcome to the Pub, Andy!

I demo'ed The Tribloos yesterday and was fascinated about the quickly raising challenges, in such a harmless (as in seemingly easy) looking game.
Although I prefer the availability of a 'really' relaxed mode, I appreciate that I still can level up when the timer runs out and as well replay.
And you bet I did! I couldn't believe I missed the goal (dunno, about level 6 or so) sooo closely - just a FEW seconds, it seemed! - you're sure you didn't suddenly shorten the available time?! Argh, and is it really necessary that they go aaaall the way back EACH time?!?
well, I changed my strategy (build first? rescue* first? mix it?), several times, and still... LOL, what fun. Really an addictive game. :gamer:

* if you want to know such things, too: I noticed 2 typos: di(s)play in the last line in Options, and recsue instead of rescue in each Tribloo-save.

I also liked the idea how to get wood, and more workers, great! And that I can look over the level setting and which ressources I have before the timer starts - to plan my above mentioned, not always directly working strategy! :D

Wow what a warm welcome, thanks Kac, oregonpandora and b00kworm!

_DD_ - you make some good points! I think if I do make a sequel I would have two additional features (well, main changes to the gameplay)

1 - that any tribloos heading home and not carrying anything would be assignable to new projects and
2 - a minus button on buildings to unassign workers

Does that sound like a good idea?

A minus button, exactly!! how I missed that! In fact, that does sound like two excellent ideas :bounce: thanks, Andy!

Thanks Eddy!

Just wanted to ask everyone actually - we're about to start doing some additional marketing for the game.

Would anyone mind if I quoted them on our BumpkinBrothers site and/or a press release we're planning? (Bella, I've already cheekily done this with something you wrote on the gamezebo site, hope you don't mind!)

I wouldn't mind either, Andy, happy to help. Of course, you can also send your readers to the Diving Bell Pub! ;)
And btw, you can also add some info here to your Profile, if you like: From your underlined user name you reach your Settings, and you can add your website URL and other info in the Profile tab there.

LOL @ the "crime fighting duo"!

_DD_ - Absolutely, I'll change the links :)

I've added more profile info too.

Yeah, me and Rich work together at the same company in real life (he's joining this forum too) and we both have super powers!
